THE BIO-MASTERY FOUNDATION TRAINING
PROGRAMME
The goal of the Foundation Training Programme is to provide the minimum viable skills and knowledge required by professionals, teams and organisations to sustainably develop and maintain their capability to function optimally in environments of increasing complexity and turbulence.

CERTIFICATION
To qualify for a Certificate of Competence, trainees are required to:

Complete all 18 weeks of the training programme which comprises of 26 lessons.

Each lesson is a critical precursor to understanding the next lesson. As such, every lesson must be done to ensure a complete and comprehensive understanding of the course material.

The interactive, instructor-led tutorial sessions take place live, in English, via Zoom, once a week. Times are listed in local time, South Africa.

All zoom tutorial sessions are recorded and available on the e-learning platform the day after the live session.

The programme is geo-neutral and accessible from anywhere in the world.

As an online course, trainees are required to have access to a stable Wifi and have Zoom installed on the device to be used for training.

The pre-recorded zoom training sessions are graphically driven and are therefore best watched on a device suitable for detailed visuals (a laptop or larger screen is recommended).
Certificate of Competence
Alumni of the 18 week Foundation Training Programme can repeat the programme as many times as they want to as part of their maintenance plan. In so doing, alumni not only refresh their stress management and resilience building knowledge and skills, but expose themselves to developments in the programme.
CURRICULUM
Section One explores the underlying social, economic and technological changes that have driven the need for professionals to have such high levels of stress management and resilience building skills.
The training takes a novel approach to subjects such as neuroscience in which avatars are used to explore the role of neural structures in stress management and resilience building. The discussions enable trainees to develop strong compelling reasons to undertake the comprehensive Bio-Mastery practical training programmes.
Section two lays the groundwork by equipping individuals, teams and companies with the essential skills and knowledge needed for stress management and resilience building. This multi-disciplinary training programme introduces four key response strategies. The initial strategies are centred around behavioural and mental skills, aimed at strengthening individual professionals' capacity to cope with stress and improve their performance. The remaining strategies are centred on conceptual models, which help participants understand and play a role in creating high-performance 'super' teams and high-performance 'syntropic' organisations.

Section three explores the actual business results, contrasting the experiences of individuals, teams, and organisations that possess resilience with those that lack it during turbulent times. This examination is conducted through the creation of scenarios and detailed case study analysis, offering concrete insights into how resilience influences success at both the professional and organisational levels.
SECTION 3: APPPLIED
WORKSHOP
The follow-up workshop after the training includes a variety of engaging card and board games that push participants to achieve organisational goals amidst challenging times. These games assess the participants' ability to adapt and make decisions while they combine efforts at individual, team, and organisational levels to meet performance targets, utilising the skills and insights gained throughout their training.
BIO-MASTERY FACILITATOR TRAINING
PROGRAMME
The Facilitator Training Programme is designed to equip facilitators with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively lead tutorial sessions for, among others, the Bio-Mastery Foundation Training Programme.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Bio-Mastery Alumni who wish to qualify as Facilitators on the Bio-Mastery Foundation Training Programme.
ACCREDITATION
Competency assessments and certifications are accredited internally using the Bio-Mastery assessors and standards of competency. All qualified Bio-Mastery Facilitators are registered on the Bio-Mastery Trainer Database, which is available on our website.

CURRICULUM
The facilitator's training programme is designed to empower alumni with the skills necessary to lead the Bio-Mastery Foundation training and other similar programmes effectively. Facilitators are taught to leverage their expertise in the subject matter to impart knowledge and guide participants towards deeper understanding and skill enhancement. The focus is on enabling facilitators to foster environments where attendees can explore concepts collaboratively, enhancing their comprehension and proficiency in a supportive setting.

PROGRAMME
The Bio-Mastery Executive Leadership Programme is a premium training initiative designed specifically for high-level executives seeking to maximize their leadership potential and drive their organisations to new heights. Priced at R110,000 per executive, the programme offers comprehensive training that not only equips leaders with advanced resilience skills but also integrates strategic management software to ensure practical application and continuous improvement.

CERTIFICATION
The Bio-Mastery Executive Training Programme is an online, instructor-led course conducted over a 30-week period, comprising a total of 150 contact hours throughout the duration of the training:

Participants are required to attend weekly 1.5-hour live, instructor-led online tutorials, where they engage in real-time discussions and learning with peers and instructors, amounting to a total of 45 contact hours.

Participants are required to attend monthly 2-hour One-on-One Executive Coaching sessions, designed to customise the training to address the executive's unique needs and challenges, totaling 15 contact hours.

Participants are required to engage in 3 hours of prescribed weekly activities, including video viewing, reading, quizzes and skill development exercises, totaling 90 contact hours.

ASSESSMENTS
Executives will be required to complete an open-book, online summative assessment within two months after the conclusion of their training programme. This assessment allows them to demonstrate their understanding and application of key concepts covered during the course.

ABOUT APPLIED ETHICS
The four ethical principles of autonomy,
non-maleficence, beneficence and justice underpin the teachings of the Foundation training programme as prima facie requirements for highly complex technological societies to function effectively.
The ability to effect these principles of ethics are severely impaired when a professional is in a state of stress. Trainees are made aware that managing and monitoring stress and thriving in the modern workplace is a collaborative process between stakeholders.
